I used the 2021 version of the same ball most of last season and the 2023 seem about the same to me. I also use Titleist True Feel and Velocity balls too, but in the end the Callaway Supersoft Golf Ball in the matt orange finish have become my go to golf ball. I keep some of the others in my bag just in case, but not many. I am a fan of using only one type of ball…during a round at least. The main reason I like these balls it the sound when hit and how they roll on the greens. I have never been a fan of balls that produce more of a “clipping” sound when hit. I like more of a dull sound and the sound does not get any better than the Supersoft IMO. I also like the thick dark line-up line when on the greens, and one the tee – no need to draw a line or enhance the line with a sharpie. The matt finish produces a nice roll too that to me seems to take just little more umph which is a good fit for how I putt. It might be my imagination, but it just feels that way to me. They sound nice coming off the putter too…same duller softer sound mentioned earlier.I am about a 15 hcp so while there might be better balls out there that get more distance and spin better on the greens at my skill level these fly as far as any and produce the results I would expect from a ball in this price range. I like the orange color too which is very easy for me to track with my eye. I have seen some reviews that say the opposite, but I think that is somewhat a personal thing and depends on how your eyes see color…not sure? They seem to last a long time, but again at my skill level it’s hard to say. I do keep newer ones in my bag, hence this purchase, and rotate older ones out to use for practice. The only down side is they can tend to be a little harder to clean due to the soft outer covering, but for me it’s a worthwhile trade off to get the sound and feel I have come to appreciate. Definitely worthy of a test drive and you can always get them in the standard smoother finish if the matt finish it not your thing.

I’m only half-way through the dozen because I’m able to use one ball for multiple rounds. Must be the lucky clover! I’m hooked. These balls don’t give you as much juice off the tee as a ProV-1, but around and on the green I can’t think of a better, more responsive ball. Love them!

I recently got my hands on these golf balls and was pleasantly surprised by their performance. They have a nice feel and provide a good distance, truly making my rounds enjoyable. The price point is fantastic, making it a great value for money. However, they do scuff easier than some premium balls I’ve used, hence the 4 stars. Nonetheless, they are an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy a good game without burning a hole in their pocket. The balance between cost and quality is spot on with these golf balls.”

I bought a dozen balls with the shamrock, because I’m Irish and I wanted my ball to stand out among all the people I play with who use Callaway balls. I started my round with 3 tour level balls, but after 2 holes of bogey and triple bogey scores I switched to the Callaway. My first drive was not great, but low and straight. Rain earlier in the day made the rough really grab the ball, and the course I was playing that day was on the long side. Took a good hit to get from the tee to the real fairway. The tour balls I started with went into the trash, and I played the rest of the round with one ball. It did get damaged due to a few poorly hit shots with my irons. But if I can reduce my lost balls by not slicing or hooking my drives into the woods or out of bounds, it would be worth ruining a ball or two during my 9-hole round. I only get out a dozen or so times a year, so a few dollars for the balls still keeps golf affordable; especially playing county courses with a senior discount card.

Love the feel of these balls, and at my horrible skill level, I appreciate that they’re not the most expensive, as my idea of a great round is to get through 9 without losing any balls. (rare) . These were my first set of high-vis yellow balls and I am going to stick with them. Really helps in spotting your ball, which isn’t easy for me, especially when in the rough, or, as often happens, when trying to spot it out of bounds in the woods and brush.

Callaway golf balls are a game-changer for my golf experience. The distance and control they offer on the course are impressive. The soft feel and low compression make them a great choice for both amateurs and pros. They’re durable too, so they last several rounds. If you’re serious about improving your golf game, Callaway golf balls are a fantastic investment.

My husband loves these golf balls. We don’t live near a retail store that sells them. I ordered them and the next day they were on our doorstep. The Calloway brand has been a requested brand for many years. We have 3 out of 4 golfers in our family.

If you are a beginner to golf or want a softball for a par 3 or something that doesn’t roll as far then grab this ball. This is a high-quality soft golf ball, you still be mad at yourself for losing one, not because you lost an expensive ball, but because you lost a good ball.I will say you probably won’t find this ball anywhere cheaper than this, unless you want used.
