I’m a 13 handicap and I’ve had this watch for a while now. I’m 25 rounds in with the watch and I also have a nice watch tan to show for it. I honestly don’t know how accurate the distances are on this thing (probably pretty accurate), but it was very humbling to see my driver distances after every round. I love how it tracks every shot and saves it along with your score card for every course you play so that you can refer back to it at any time. I was never really big on data, more of a feel player, but this watch helped me understand and analyze my game from a different perspective. Garmin claims to have over 41,000 courses preloaded on this thing and I must say that I haven’t had any hiccups with any of the courses I’ve played so far, including a few courses in a different country. This is my first “smart watch” and I’m not a super smart watch user but it tracks the basics I need like heart rate and sleep. The interface on this watch is pretty simple but some of the options like workouts, alarm clock, etc. are a bit cumbersome to get to via the “Play Golf” screen. If you need phone controls/notification integration, this watch isn’t the watch for you, I didn’t really need those features, so it didn’t affect my experience much. One thing I do LOVE about the watch though is its battery life! This thing goes daysss before it needs a charge. All in all the watch makes it easy to track and analyze your golf games when you play and easy to tell the time while reminding you of your last round when you’re not.

I’ve had the S62 for a year now. If I was doing it again, I would get the basic GPS distance version. I do not have the Arcos club attachments. This model fails to detect about 1/3 of shots which leads to shots of enormous distance. This is particularly bad on fluffy lies which often don’t register. Battery life is great. It keeps your steps and hasn’t died after a year like my past two Fitbits. Most courses I play have carts that give you distance. When I walk, my Golfshot Pro app, is just as good giving me distance.

The watch does exactly as advertised. It is on the expensive end of things and the comments about finding courses being slow is pretty accurate. Although if I load the course on my phone first it seems to go quicker. There have been times on the first tee that I was nervous that my watch wouldn’t find the GPS on time. It’s very accurate though and the features are great. I love the full course layout map along with distances to hazards etc. The automatic club tracking works great even without buying the ct10’s, you just won’t get tracking for shorter shots and puts, but I’m ok with that. There are other options out there that are cheaper. I haven’t tried them so I cannot compare but this is a big improvement over using apps on my Apple Watch.

Great improvement over s60 model. Battery life in particular is excellent. Tons of features!

I really like the watch, but I got it for $100 off so that helped.Pros:Battery life is great…..Charged it up and it lasted a little over 7 full days. No golf rounds but used the GPS for some walks/runs, raised the brightness to 80%, rcv all the notifications, max vibration alert etc…….still impressed it lasted that long.Comfort and Stylish plus pretty easy to read and use. Set up was easy, GPS seems to be on point as far as tracking my path.Golf function pretty easy to use, appears to be off about 5 yards (+) but if it is always 5 yards I can account for that. Like the club tracking and totaling you distance when you get to the call. The Garmin Golf App that shows you shots on each hole is pretty cool as it lets you go back and examine your round.App is pretty basic but nice results — not sure if steps/calories etc are on point or not.Cons:For a normal price of $499 this thing should have some sound in my opinion…….music streaming, voice control, taking a call. Guess the plus to this is it is waterproof.Ability to see who is calling is nice but what good is it that you can answer the call but then you have to run to your phone to talk to them.A little big, but I guess that is the reason the battery lasts so long, but I have gotten use to it.Connectivity seems a little off, almost have to reconnect it after getting up in the morning or getting out of the car — maybe something else bumps it off……usually don’t notice until my phone is ringing but my watch is not vibrating. I have a S8 so maybe a new phone would work better.Overall I would recommend it, but only if you have the money — seems like it should be more like $299 – $349…….I have enjoyed it but have nothing to compare it to as this is my first smart watch.

I really love the watch, when it works. Gives you accurate distances, has helped me spend less time gauging distance and more time focusing on the shot at hand. However, after a number of months it began to give me some glitches. It would stop giving me distances at all. Or, it won’t actually record each shot throughout the round. Very frustrating- as this is such a great feature. I love looking back at the round and seeing where I need to improve. I’d give it a 5/5 if it weren’t for this issue.
